There you stand you silly fool,
In the dark shadows of your failures
Your responsibilities abdicated,
On your shortcut drive to righteousness.
—-
You’ve turned your back,
To a big picture life,
No passion, or purpose, no fire
Cowering in the fear of the judgement of strangers
Lost in your own self-deception.
—-
Striving for success
Power, Importance, status
Some opportunity to covertly boast
To defeat the Jones’s
You forgot who you are,
You forgot who your forebears were
You forgot!
—-
Binding your soul tight
To the fear of being judged
You stand on your pedestal,
Flowing your disdain
At the conscientious ones who say no.
You ridicule your brothers,
And curse your sisters,
When they stand in their power,
Unyielding and courageous,
So Bold, Beautiful, fearless.
—-
Who do you fool?
Other than yourself.
As your despicably cowardly mind
Strokes your fragile ego,
Reminding you of your undeniable virtue.
—-
And you now have rules for speech,
Thou must never offend,
Seems freedom is no longer mine
To be honest, to say what I mean,
To mean what I say.
—-
You stand blind to a brutal truth,
That responsibility abdicated,
Is usurped by scoundrels.
And while you pontificate your dogma
Your unaccountable representatives
Suffocate your souls,
And extinguish your thrive.
And call it safety.
—-
And you had no leg to stand on
And fear shut you down
Cos’ you abandoned your health,
Your body’s own resilience
At the drive through gate.
Lazy, weak, insipid, and dying,
You cannot even fight for yourself,
Let alone others.
—-
And you think you know,
And you are changing the world.
The system is broke,
Oppressive white males,
And as you chant your slogans,
Greedy despotic men,
Conduct your orchestra,
And steal your future.
—-
See capitalism isn’t the culprit,
But greed certainly is.
Lust for Power and Wealth,
Not a capitalist intention
But a Psychotic Behavior of humans,
Not Socialism nor Marxism is a cure for Psychopaths.
—-
You point at the world
Citing all the wrongs you see
Oh holy one, so righteous,
Standing enraged, Doing nothing,
Too selfish to help a single soul.
—-
But, on your watch,
The most evil of crimes emerged
Since the holocaust and beyond
Inflicted on humanity
Under a Masthead named Pandemic,
As a virus took over your mind
Turning you toward subservience,
Or tyranny, or both.
—-
As the politicians bathe in glory,
Being the saviors of the world
Babies dig for cobalt,
Brutalized and dying,
And working families quietly slip into poverty,
While you feel so smug, cruising,
In your electric car.
—-
And now carbon is their smokescreen,
As the earth gets quietly greener
You gladly sip the kool-aid
As they terrorize your children,
Stealing their hopes and dreams.
Destroying their inspiration for life.
—-
Look around and see,
Young Girls too frightened of the burden of womanhood
Young Boys fearful to be a man
Running as fast as they can
From the challenging responsibilities
Of living a life,
Of being a man, or a woman.
—-
And as despots butcher the kids
You demand they have rights.
As you fight for the evil ones
In your warped and woke thinking
You condemn the guardians,
And abandon the children.
Shame on you.
—-
And you are Standing by watching,
Condoning pure evil
You are such a modern thinker,
Basking in your wokeness
As they skin Bambi alive.
—-
Come on down now,
From your Facebook pedestal
Make amends, be brave,
Right your wrongs,
And join the fight for your children’s lives,
Their future, their freedom, their kids.
—-
Evil forces stole your mind
But you do not have to give them your heart,
Unless spike already has it,
Are you willing to fight
—-
To take back your world, your life, your morality.
The conspiracy theorists point to an invisible “They”,
You are not a they, you are a you.
But if you refuse to reclaim you,
Then perhaps you really are,
Part of the evil they!
What do you really stand for?
