Great awareness John...What comes to mind as I listened to this is:
If we know this is common practice...should it be legalised so it can be better governed from a QA perspective from a user health perspective?
Making drugs legal would possibly reduce the illegal elements associated with drugs...
As I often do with assisting organisations to reduce safety incidents...I suggest we address their UGR's...as opposed to denying their existence...So we can educate following the UGR's more safely...
Sadly as a human race...many want to experience the hit/uplift through easier means and don't understand the difference between pleasure...and Happiness...
With a very big difference between the two...and one having the ability to erode the other...

I agree mate. That ravine like gap between pleasure and happiness is a blind spot for so many. It costs dollars and lifetimes.
